Nipple Tattooing

Three-dimensional nipple tattooing is an option for those who would otherwise require free nipple grafts (such as in the Double Incision approach) but who prefer the aesthetic of a three-dimensional tattoo over that of a free nipple graft. Nipple graft healing is less predictable than nipple tattooing and there are risks to a free nipple graft such as small asymmetries and hypopigmentation. If you are unsure of whether you want nipples on your chest wall, nipple tattooing is always an option down the line if you opt for a no-nipple reconstruction approach and change your mind down the line.
